Quilts

The quilts have been machine pieced and quilted. For those of you who are not familiar with the making of a quilt, the quilting is very important. These are the stitches that will hold the layers of the quilt together through the years. The binding is doubled, 2 layers of fabric that have been stitched by machine to quilt back and then stitched again by machine to the front, making the binding strong and durable.

The quilts are all complete and ready to ship!

Care for these quilt is simple, just toss into the wash. Cold water and a low heat dryer will allow the colors to last the longest. A hot iron is OK. I have laundered this quilt upon completion to account for the shrinkage due to the batting and to aid in the pucker of the quilting.

All quilts and other items are created and quilted by me with my home sewing machine and long arm quilt machine in a smoke free home studio. Thanks for your interest and be sure to view our shop as I have many other quilts and items to offer!

If you are interested in creating a custom quilt here is some information on how it works:

1. You will be giving me information about your ideas, needs, favorite colors, fabrics you like, etc. T-shirt quilts are a custom order. We will talk back and forth about all details of the design.

2. Price for custom quilt will depend on complexity and size.
Shipping will vary depending on the size of the quilt and I will provide you with this information also. T-Shirt quilts start at $17.50 per shirt, this includes all the fabric to put everything together.

3. When you are ready a 50% deposit is required. Once purchased I go ahead and acquire all materials and get busy quilting. Depending on current turn-around times your quilt should be ready to ship in 2-6 weeks. In busy periods it can take longer. I will provide you with this information before the quilt is ordered.

5. The remaining balance must be paid before the quilt is shipped. You will receive an email to remind you of payment.
